First Mission

Team C walks around the Grass Village, admiring the abundant nature in the village, they see many trees and plantations around the city.



Zinos**
-- Man, this place is beautiful. The air is so... clean.

Windham**
-- Yeah, I could get used to this peaceful feeling.

Lux**
-- Although it is a very good feeling, this peacefulness could be dangerous. It can make people soft.

Dark**
-- Sadly, I agree with the princess.

Lux**
-- I hate you.

Dark**
-- Oh no, the rich privileged princess doesn't like to be reminded of her royalty status. Boo hoo.



While Dark and Lux argue, Zinos talks with Windham.

Zinos**
-- Well, at least Dark seems to be back to normal. Whatever that is.

Windham**
-- Yeah, I'm starting to think this bickering is actually something good for our team. Thank you for being the normal one, Zinos.


Zinos**
-- Oh man, why do I think this "normal" status is going to bite me in the ass later on?


Windham**

The team continues to walk through the village until they reach a big traditional style building.



Windham**
-- Alright team, here we are. The Grass Village great hall. That's where the Kusakage's office is.
-- We're going to introduce ourselves to him, state our business in the village, get the permission to wander around the village, get Joker's location and take him to the Waterfall.
-- The Kusakage is a very serious and busy person, so I'll do the talking and you guys just stay quiet and don't cause a scene.

Windham says this last sentence looking at Dark and Lux, which are looking annoyed at each other.

Lux**

-- Just try to act like a normal person for a few minutes.

Dark**

Lux screams at Dark while she chokes and pushes him, catching the attention of the civilans of the village who look at Team C with aprehensive faces.



Windham punches Dark and Lux's head in the back, forcing Lux to release Dark; Both complain while passing their hands in their heads.

Dark**
-- Damn, Windham. That hurts.
-- Why'd I had to get punch as well?

Windham**
-- Because you're both idiots.
--  Now, behave yourselves before we get into trouble.

Team C goes to the front gate of the Grass Hall, when they're stopped by two guards. One was tall, looked to be around 40 years old, with gray hair and black piercing eyes.


Guard 1**
-- Halt!
-- Who are you, and what is your business in the Grass Hall?


Guard 2**
-- You guys are very far from home.
-- Must have some important business in our village, huh?

While the first guard was older, serious and a little intimidating, the second guard was young, looked like the same age as Dark, Lux and Zinos. Unlike his partner, he looked calm and carefree.

Dark, Lux and Zinos all look at Windham.



Windham**
-- Hey, guys!
-- I'm Uchiha Windham, the leader of Konoha's Team C.
-- These are my pupils, Nara Zinos, Hyuuga Lux and Dark.
-- We've come here to present ourselves to the Kusakage, so with his permission we'll go meet the "Joker" scientist and escort him to the Primal Island.

Windham, Dark, Lux and Zinos show their documents to the guards. Guard 1 takes their ID and meticulously checks their documents, meanwhile Guard 2 keeps staring at them with an easy smile. While they're all there looking at each other, Dark notices that Guard 2's eyes have a pink glow while his pupils have the shape of 3 white lines crossing each other, forming a star shape.



Guard 2**

-- Well, it looks like you're telling the truth.
-- But...

Still smiling, Guard 2 stares directly at Dark.



Guard 2**
-- You have an interesting name.
-- While all of them have famous Families' names, you don't have any. How come?
-- Who exactly are you?

Dark feels uneasy with the Guard's intense stare.

Dark**
-- I.. I'm...
-- ...
-- I don't know. Just me I guess, just "Dark".

Guard 2**
-- Hmm...

Guard 2 keeps staring at Dark, never changing his smiley expression.

Guard 2**
-- Seems like you're telling the truth.
-- Amnesia? Was it caused by past trauma? Or was it a mind altering jutsu?
-- Oh what I wouldn't give to unravel the puzzle that is your mind, Dark.

Dark looks annoyed to the guard, he's about to open his mouth when Windham hits a strong slap on his back, making Dark gasp at the pain and letting out an "ouch".

Windham**
-- Yeah, Dark here is a mystery indeed.
-- But, I'm afraid it is a simple mystery. Dark is an orphan, who lost his memory during the attack we received in Konoha, almost a year ago.

Guard 2 keeps staring at Dark and Windham, but before he can say anything, Guard 1 speaks up.

Guard 1**
-- All right, your documents check out.
-- Jun, are they telling the truth?

Guard 2**
-- Like I've said before Mun, looks like it.
-- Although, I'm not very sure about this last information...

After hearing what Jun had said, Dark looked to Windham, with a surprised expression. Windham smiles at Dark.



Guard 1 interrupts the awkward stare down between all the ninjas.



Guard 1**
-- Okay, you can come in. Inform the receptionist that you're here to meet Kusakage-sama and she'll find a ninja to escort you to Kusakage-sama's office.

Windham**
-- Yes, sir. I'm team captain Uchiha Windham.
-- These are my Genin: Dark, Hyuuga Lux and Nara Zinos.

The Kusakage stares at the ninjas, analyzing each one before speaking again.

Kusakage**
-- Some good clans among your team.
-- What about you boy? Come from a famous family as well?

The Kusakage was staring at Dark.

Dark**
-- Not really.

Kusakage**
-- Heh.
-- I'm Shin, the new Kusakage.
-- As you may have heard, our village is at war with the Rain. We didn't accept their offer of merging our village to theirs, they have started a war with us.

Windham**

The team enters the laboratory. They're greeted by a man in the reception.

Receptionist**
-- Good evening, what can I do for you?

Windham**
-- We're here to meet the Joker and escort him to Primal Island.

The ninjas show their ID's to the receptionist.

Receptionist**
-- The... Joker?

The receptionist is quiet for a few seconds until he speaks again.

Receptionist**
-- Oh! RIght, Dr. Knox's codename.
-- He's in his lab. Take the stairs on the left, go down two floors, it's the 3rd door on the right.

Windham**
-- Got it. Thanks!
